Your wedding timeline isn't just about deciding when things happen. It's about creating enough space for you to enjoy each part of your day without feeling rushed.
We'll work together before your wedding to build a photography timeline around your ceremony time, locations, priorities, and the moments that matter most to you.
This is the anchor for the rest of the day. Once we know when your ceremony begins, we can work backward to plan getting-ready coverage, portraits, and travel between locations.

START WITH YOUR CEREMONY START TIME
A first look gives you the opportunity to see each other privately before the ceremony and can allow us to complete some couple, wedding-party, or family portraits earlier in the day. If you'd rather wait until the aisle, we'll build time for those photographs afterward instead. Both options can work beautifully!

DECIDE WHETHER YOU’D LIKE A FIRST LOOK
Getting everyone from one location to another often takes longer than expected. We'll account for travel, gathering family members, and the little in-between moments so your schedule feels realistic.

LEAVE ROOM FOR TRANSITIONS
SET ASIDE TIME FOR FAMILY PORTRAITS
If the weather and your schedule allow, I love stepping away with you for about 10–15 minutes around sunset. It's a chance to slow down, enjoy a quiet moment together, and capture some beautiful portraits in softer evening light.

We'll create a family photo list in advance so we can move through those groupings efficiently. Having one person who knows both families help gather everyone can make this part of the day much easier.

SAVE A FEW MINUTES FOR THE SUNSET
BUILD A LITTLE BUFFER TIME
Hair and makeup might run late, a family member might need an extra minute, or you might simply want a moment to yourselves. A timeline with breathing room helps those little delays feel manageable.
About a month before your wedding, I'll send over your wedding questionnaire so we can finalize the details and create a photography timeline that works for your day. You don't need to have every minute planned before we get started.
